A Taste of the East

New Orleans City Councilmember Cyndi Nguyen, NOLA Business Alliance Interim President and CEO Norman Barnum, Developer Troy Henry, Main Street Studio owners Aaron and Psytia Jordan, and New Orleans East Matters’ Tangee Wall joined several party goers for an evening of laughter, dancing, singing, food and drink at A Taste of the East pop up event on Friday night at the Main Street Studio Event Hall.

Sharon Martin and Ceasar Elloie provided entertainment.

The second day of the event, which was to be held on Saturday, June 19, was rescheduled to June 26, due to expected bad weather on the 19th. This event will include vendors.

New Orleans East Exploratory Meeting held at Dixie Brewery

Saturday, February 1, 2020. In what was described as “the first of many meetings with New Orleans East stakeholders”, representatives of the New Orleans Business Alliance led a packed room of New Orleans East residents in discussions and sharing of data and ideas related to how to bring change to New Orleans East, with the intent to develop a strategy by the end of the year.
