Company focuses on promoting New Orleans East
In celebration of NOELA Services’ 10 year anniversary, articles from previous editions of the NOELA Newsletter will be reintroduced. This week’s focus is on the year 2009.
A great deal of information has been shared with NOELA Newsletter readers over the years. That information has included Social Events, Advertising and a variety of meetings, including Homeowner Association Meetings, NOPD Meetings, City Council Meetings, City Planning Meetings, Orleans Parish Hospital Service District A Meetings, Code Enforcement Meetings and Board of Zoning Adjustments meetings.
Organizations like Operation Hope, Good Work Network, Southern University at New Orleans, Dillard University have provided numerous training opportunities. Volunteer opportunities with Parkway Partners and NOLA Tree Project have allowed plant and tree giveaways and sales, and the Audubon Nature Institute has organized several tree plantings with the help of New Orleans businesses.
Residents have been informed of immunizations for kids and pets, birthdays, new births, engagements, graduations, new business startups, Church service schedules; and profiles of people, businesses and neighborhoods. Awards, honors, job opportunities, storm recovery updates, public service announcements, political forums, scholarship information, and items for sale round out the other types of information provided.
