New Orleans City Business | Childhood friends from Brooklyn investing in New Orleans

Childhood friends and Brooklyn, New York natives Shea Schneider, Sholom Ber Eckhaus and Berry Silver have entered the New Orleans real estate market. They have bought multiple multifamily properties since the start of 2021 in southeast Louisiana, with the goal of acquiring more, specifically in New Orleans.

In July, the trio bought a 46-unit complex at 8520 Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans East for $2.2 million, according to the website of The McEnery Company, their real estate agent.

Biz New Orleans: Industrial Realty Group Hires CBRE to Lease 1.3M Square Feet at Michoud

HOUSTON – Industrial Realty Group has hired CBRE to lease 1.3 million square feet of industrial and office space planned for the development of Propel Park at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans East. IRG, one of the country’s largest owners of commercial and industrial properties, has signed a long-term ground lease for a 50-acre development parcel within MAF, one of the largest production facilities in the nation.
