National Disaster Resilience (NDR) Grant Workforce Training Contract Manager

Organizational Background:

In coordination with the New Orleans Workforce Development Board, the Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development establishes policies, programs and interventions to connect residents to employment opportunities in the metropolitan area. To support this work, the City of New Orleans has allocated $3 million in HUD NDRC grant funds for workforce development training programs. The Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development seeks an energetic and creative self-starter who has the vision, ambition, and temperament to build a brand that has local recognition among a variety of stakeholders. The Contract Manager will be responsible for implementation and oversight of the NDR workforce training program. The Contract Manager must be able to balance both a strategic focus and day-to-day execution with limited resources.
