Mayor considers demolition of former Six Flags site

Mayor LaToya Cantrell is in favor of demolishing the 162-acre former Six Flags site near Lake Forest Boulevard and Michoud Boulevard. It has been estimated that it would take $1.3 million to demolish the site. Since the site was largely abandoned, multiple proposals for what to do with the site have been vetted.
